For sheer novelty value this place beats any hotel I've ever been to. I can't begin to describe our experience there. Suffice to say it was excellent. It's a great place for a romantic getaway. The service is wonderful and the maids wear this French maid costume and it looks lovelier on them than any I've seen. We stayed in the Eugenia Suite and loved every minute of our three days.

My wife and I stayed at the Eugenia for four days and had a lovely time. It's incredibly old fashioned and untouched by the racket that goes on all around. It's a bit far from the main road, but for us that didn't matter at all. I wouldn't advise staying here with kids. It's perfect for couples. Melanie Stutz
What can I say about the Eugenia, but that it was the best place I've ever stayed in. It's like no other hotel I've ever been to. We were just coming from Koh Samui where they have a lot of romantic getaways, but this certainly beats them all. If you've stayed here, you'll never forget it, ever. They have modern facilities, but it's not in your face. They don't have an elevator as it doesn't belong in a place like this. I totally agree.
