The Swana is a nice, quiet place to stay. I booked into the de luxe room and found it comfortable and clean. The bathroom has no tub but is sufficient for your needs. Although a swimming pool would greatly improve things, everything else is quite nice.

Nice hotel and great location. The staff are very courteous people and speak English well. There is no elevator to the top floors and that is an inconvenience if you're tired. We enjoyed the restaurant. It is really good and has a wonderful menu.

We stayed at the Swana hotel for three days and enjoyed it. It's not a huge place and does not look congested. The room was very clean and sweet smelling. In fact the whole place has this sweet, fresh smell which is very invigorating. I did ask housekeeping about it but they just smiled, probably not understanding what I was on about. The restaurant service is excellent and the local cuisine is simply great. I recommend this hotel highly.
