The deluxe room is big but run down and the bathroom toilet bowl & bathtap rather yellowish & rusty.
You have to walk a distance from the wing to the main.
However, the location to BTS is only 5mins walking distance.

Prostitution should not be allowed in this hotel as it gives it one of the worst reputation in Bangkok.
Very unfortunately from a first class hotel in the 70's-80's, it went down to a 2 star hotel. Apart of that the service is O.K.
Breakfast is fantastic. The different outlets of the hotel make it appear as a 4 star hotel.

Had another good stay at the Ambassador Hotel in Bangkok. OK, the rooms are looking old but it is still very good value for your money.
