Patpong is an entertainment district in Bangkok, catering mainly to tourists and expatriates. Patpong consists of two parallel side streets running between Silom Road and Surawong Road and one side street running from the opposite side of Surawong.
There are now a number of live music bars that attract regular Thais and tourists as well as a number of very good restaurants.
Besides it's bars, Patpong is also well-known for its lively night market, often the first and easiest stop for many tourists just arriving to Bangkok, whilst lodging at one of several mid-to-upper-end hotels in Silom.
Patpong is within walking distance from the BTS Skytrain Silom Line's Sala Daeng Station, and MRT Bangkok Metro Blue Line's Si Lom Station.
