Bangkok's temples are definitely a large part of the capital's heart and soul. Best visited in the morning before the heat of the day sets in. The architecture is awe-inspiring, just Imagine thousands of pieces of coloured glass and pottery adorned with intricate mouldings, carvings and statues gilded in gold - you'll know you're indeed in a City of Angels!

If time's short there's a few of Bangkok's finest sights that should be at the top of your list; Bangkok Grand Palace, Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha) and Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn). Ideally located close together they can easily be seen in one morning.
