Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum

Bangkok Attractions | Information on a Bangkok venue for children of all ages

Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum is a great adventure for adults and children. It is here that you will learn about virtually everything you can imagine. Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum opened its doors in June of 2001 and has been delighting thousands upon thousands of guests ever since. With hands on learning and play acting it is no wonder that children continue to love Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum as much as their parents do.

In one section of Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum children can learn hands on how such things as engines work. How about finding out how it feels to be inside a bubble? Well at Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum, you can. There is so much you can learn by getting in and doing some hands on activities here.

When you are done with the hands on activities head over to the play acting section and do some dress up. Here you can dress up and take part in a medical facility, supermarket or how about a café. This is all play-acting so what you do is up to you.

While these are delights for younger children and their parents visiting Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum, the older kids were not forgotten. Here older kids can learn by putting together their own television program, the nature section with everything from fish to small mammals. Everything is designed here at the museum to be hands on so that you and your little ones can learn from interaction.

Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum has a separate building that offers up activities for babies and toddlers. This soft play area is more ideal for the babies and toddlers to safely explore in without fear of harm from the children's learning areas. Thus making this museum truly a place to visit for anyone traveling to Bangkok with a child of any age.

The only downfall with Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum is that your children will not want to leave. Unfortunately, the museum is not open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Therefore, at some point you may have to drag you children out kicking and screaming. What a wonderful way to spend the day with your children. Just remember that all the screaming and kicking means you picked out a great place to hang out at.

Admission into Bangkok's Children's Discovery Museum is 70 Thai Baht equal to 1.53 Euros for adults and 50 Thai Baht equal to 1.09 Euros for children. The admission hours are 9 am until 5 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10 am to 6 pm Friday and Saturday.
